Welcome to my site! I have little aspirations that this will be no more than a way to post my thoughts, ideas, and stories. I love to write and share, and now I’m going to make time to do it…publicly. This Southern Girl needs to spread the love (she types as her fingers shake on the keys)!
For what seems like my entire life, I have said that I do things way before they are cool! Which may or may not be a good thing.
I would not classify myself as politically correct. My upbringing was a dichotomy of societies. My parents lived inner city Charlotte, North Carolina, which wasn’t Chicago, but still not too easy. That’s were I spent my week. The weekends were spent with my grandparents on their 10-acre farm in Iron Station, North Carolina. I am highly opinionated, independent, and use wit as a weapon. I have lived a few different lives, making giant shifts every 10 years or so. And here I am running my own horse boarding farm, my own real estate business, raising some free range children and chickens, growing and cooking my own type of food, and sharing it with anyone who will listen, because this life is amazing…tough, but amazing!
